New Works Program (formerly known as the Emerging Artists Award Program) is designed to provide infrastructure for choreographers, to create new work, and to provide deep, ongoing mentorship between experienced and early-to-mid-career choreographers. The New Works Award provides the opportunity for New England-based choreographers to be in residence at Green Street Studios. Green Street Studios provides choreographers with Mentor/Choreographers, and 40 hours of rehearsal space per awardee for the creation of new work. The new works by the awardees premiere in a fully produced, shared concert at Green Street Studios.

Lissa Florman Memorial Scholarships
Green Street Studios Center is the proud host of the Lissa Florman Memorial Scholarships; scholarships awarded to young dancers between the ages of 12 to 18 for a year of training with the faculty of the studios. All classes will be open to the scholarship students. Originally founded to support modern dance, Green Street Studios also offers a full range of classes in ballet, jazz, ethnic dancing, hip hop, and Latin dance. Green Street Studios is also home to Boston Percussive Dance which offers a variety of classes in tap, flamenco and Celtic dance forms. The Scholarships will enable young dancers of promise to explore all forms of dance, expand their physical vocabularies and their understanding of the art form. The Scholarship program is in honor of Lissa Florman.
